Privacy Policy

Witch Map (witchmap.org) is a separate product from witchspace.app, run by Witchspace, for publishing a public map of in-person witchcraft events. This policy covers only Witch Map — see witchspace.app's privacy policy for the membership platform.

What we collect

• Event organizers: the event details you submit, your email, and (if you list a paid event) payment information for the listing donation, processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• RSVPs: if you RSVP to a free event, your email is shared with that event's organizer (so they can run their event) and used to send you a confirmation and, if you request one, a reminder.
• Reminders: if you use the "remind me" tool, we store your email and the timeframe you chose, solely to send that reminder.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to third parties. We don't use your RSVP or reminder email for anything beyond what you signed up for unless we clearly say so and give you a separate choice at the time.

Location data

Event addresses are shown publicly by default, since most events are at public venues — this matches standard event-listing practice. Organizers hosting at a private residence can choose to show only the general area instead of an exact address when submitting their listing.

Retention

Listings, RSVPs, and reminders are kept for as long as the event listing exists, plus a reasonable period after for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your data by emailing the address below.
